What are skin boosters?
Skin boosters are injectable treatments made with hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in your skin that helps it hold on to water.
Unlike dermal filler, they're spread through the skin in tiny amounts rather than used to shape the face. The aim is skin that looks more hydrated, smooth and radiant.
Most work best as a course, and Kelsey will recommend the right product and plan for your skin at your consultation.
Who are they for?
Skin boosters suit most adults who want their skin to look healthier without looking "done". They're a popular choice before a wedding or big event.
- Your skin looks dull, tired or dehydrated
- You've noticed crepey texture or fine lines
- Your skin has lost some of its bounce
- Your make-up doesn't sit as well as it used to
- You'd like a natural glow with no change to your features

Common questions
Will I look different?
Skin boosters don't add volume or change the shape of your face. The aim is for your skin to look fresher and healthier, so people notice you look well rather than that you've had something done.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe a quick scratch with each injection. Kelsey works carefully and will check in with you throughout.
Is there any downtime?
You may have small raised bumps, redness, swelling or bruising where the booster was injected. These usually settle within a few days, so avoid booking right before an event.
How long do results last?
It depends on the product, your skin and your lifestyle. Results build over a course of treatment, and Kelsey will recommend when to come back for maintenance.
Which booster should I choose?
You don't need to decide before you book. Kelsey will look at your skin and recommend the product that suits your goals and budget.
Can anyone have skin boosters?
You must be over 18. Please tell Kelsey if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have a skin infection or cold sore, an allergy, an autoimmune condition, or take blood-thinning medication, as the treatment may not be suitable.
